Purpose of Research

The purpose of this project is to explore the empirically and conceptually explore the notion of servant leadership. We are hoping to gain the insights of over 500 selected practitioners and scholars with respect to the concept, construct or metaphor of servant leadership. An integral part of our project is the analysis of a survey which gives opportunity for experts in the field of leadership studies to inform and compliment our theoretical development of the notion of servant leadership and our work with extant literature on the subject. In other words, the goal of the larger study is to bring further critical and expositional analysis and clarity to the notion of servant leadership.
